When difficult circumstances arise as they have done for a lot of this year it is normal to feel powerless, afraid, and uncertain. If we stay in this we can get lost in a downward spiral of fear stress and overwhelm and it is hard to see a way out.

Deep inside of you, there is a place where you are certain and secure that can lead you in the right direction. We all have that part of ourselves that knows who we are what we want and the right course of action to take in any situation. This place can NOT be accessed through the thinking mind but by going inside yourself the answers are within. This is done by giving yourself time and space to be alone and free of any distraction from your everyday life. The next step is to do something that brings you into the present moment. Some ideas are...

Walking in nature and really seeing and being with what is around you.

Journaling and asking yourself questions you wouldn't normally ask.

Moving meditations like yoga or intuitive dance.

Doing something creative like painting, drawing, playing an instrument.

When we give ourselves time to do things like this then our body's and our nervous systems can get out of fight or flight responses and it puts back into a normal state where we can feel a sense of calm and security; it is at these times when the answers can arise from within. When we start to give ourselves this time on a daily basis it starts to deepen that connection to our inner world and starts to bring balance and flow back into our lives. This is something that does not have to take a lot of time you can start with just 5 min. a day.

I have discovered by doing this on a regular basis that I actually have more time. I am more centered and calm and I have a smother day and make fewer mistakes which frees up more time. I have a clearer sense of what I need to be doing and how to accomplish it in a more efficient way, which frees up more time. I am not distracting myself with things like picking up my phone to see what notifications I have or what's the latest news because I am focused on what I am doing, which frees up more time. This also is why when I work with a new client it is the first thing we work on and it is the first step in my Process To Find Your Passion Purpose and Path. I don't have the answers but they do.

I hope you find this helpful.

Namaste,

Your Mind Body and Soul Coach
